As promised, here is a table summarizing where the Sanders pole position post Super Tuesday. for this project, I simply multiplied the total delegate count from each state by the Sanders campaign polling numbers. For instance, recent California polls have Sanders in first place with 27.6% of the vote. As we discussed earlier, every Democratic primary utilizes the proportional method so we can simply multiple the Golden State's total delegate count of 494 to determine The Vermont Senator's haul if form holds.
So Sanders will haul in 387 delegates on March 3rd or 24% of 1,617 available delegates. So is the nomination still his to lose? More tomorrow.
