1. The White House and Republicans in general have concerns regarding the President's COVID-19 messaging. Therefore, they are seeking a pivot to saving the economy.


2. Speaking of the economy are weighing the risks of opening their states back up for business.


3. Many governors are still frustrated over Mitch McConnell' bankruptcy comments. The frustration appears to be bipartisan.


4. Finally, 55 million TV viewers watch the NFL Draft. This possibly spurred the NBA to open practice facilities.

I think it's exciting that the sports world is moving forward (maybe baseball will follow!!!) and the nation as a whole, but I think everyone still needs to be careful. Just because the nation is opening back up doesn't mean it's safe yet.

Governors from each state are experiencing pressures on all sides (economy, health citizens). All of them need to weigh the cost of reopening their state and lifting the stay at home order. The life of a person is far more important than anything, it’s value is priceless. But the economy and businesses are not doing well right now. Many governors are beginning to do face way as soon as May 1st.
